I don't own an iPhone, but can you tell me where the plugin comes
from, and possibly some more details? I'd like to put something on
the wiki on this (I have a Treo 700w myself), and I'm sure I'll be
needing this in the future, since one of my clients just activates
38 iPhones.....
Thanks.
As provided by another list member, there's the plugin (which works
well), and the iPhone supports push (it seems) out of the box.
Furthermore, Mail.app under Leopard, OS X 10.5, supports push-mail
out of the box, without any further modifications.
FYI - I have tested this functionality only with iPhones in Wifi
mode, since my current location precluded phone/EDGE usage. This has
been tested extensively under Tiger (10.4) and the latest developer
build of Leopard.
Oh, and Dovecot support would be pretty damn cool.
