I've tried things like that also. When the path seemed to be /var/www/html for example, I would just copy the entire directory there. But, I have to admit that I forgot to change ownership to the web server. I'll give it one more try.

I don't have an answer for you then. If making it look like Outlook is so important, why not just use OWA on an Exchange machine?
I've installed the nutmail.com themes on some of my machines and didn't
have too many problems. Might be worth looking into. Sure, they're $35

I've emailed him but have not seen a reply. The price is fine, the problem is that it's for 6 months of updates. Again, not a problem but it's not clear if that means another full payment in 6 months if I needed an update because squirrlemail made some changes for example. That would bring the price up to some $60.00/year per server. It's just not clear what he wants or how often squirrelmail changes so that I would need updates.

For your $35, if Squirrelmail releases a new version in 3 months, you get it. Next year when they release a new version, you'd need to pay $35 to get an updated copy of his skin (and receive 6 months of updates again). You don't HAVE to, unless you're one of those people that has to install every patch that comes out. The changes that Squirrelmail makes will not automatically appear on your machine and break your webmail. Only you can do that. $60 or $70 a year is not a deterrent in my opinion. If you're running your entire business and paying all of your bills off of the efforts of the people that support open source, why not give a little back? They all have bills to pay as well. AND they help out at a "digital feeding kitchen". Always feeding, but never getting much in return except for complaints (there are the occasional thank-yous in there). You could always hire someone to code a nice interface for you, or purchase Exchange as well.
