Good thing to check, fuzzy, but no go:
# cat /var/qmail/supervise/spamd/run
#!/bin/sh
exec /usr/bin/spamd -x -u vpopmail -s stderr 2>&1
That wouldn't be it anyway, as it doesn't come into play with running lint,
only the daemon.
