I'm considering building two QmailToaster servers (one for mx relay and
one for mx backup), but before I do, I'd like to make sure it can do
things easily. (Ideally, I could see an online HOWTO so I could get a
feel of how exactly it would work. I googled, but found nothing in the
first several dozen search results)
Can QmailToaster...
(1) easily be an MX backup for other mail servers. I have probably
(2) easily be an mail gateway / relay for other hosts (not just one host
behind it). So, say I have domain1.com, domain2.com, and domain3.com.
I'd like to forward domain1.com to my internal IP, have domain2.com go
to another public IP, and have domain3.com go a second public IP.
(3) dynamically pull usernames off other boxes (particularly Exchange)?
This (or something like it) would stop dictionary attacks from hammering
Exchange.
