I can't say about spamdyke though.

You can install the repo for QTP and just upgrade it. It will overwrite/upgrade any old files.

Confirm for QTP upgrade (CentOS 4.6 32bit - current)
Upgrade works smoothly but i didn't have spamdyke, so can't say also.
