You know what - that's probably what my problem was, then -- I do recall that, at one point, I did the CPAN update via CPAN. Yeah, bad Harry, bad.

In general, always "yum update" your system before upgrading toaster

Always do.


packages, and don't use CPAN for managing perl packages.

Won't happen again :-(
