Does qmail toaster need port 2000 to be open.
When I run
nmap -sT -O localhost
It show various open ports , most I know,
but not sure about port 2000

I don't believe so, at least not at this point in time. According to
/etc/services, that port is reserved for Sieve mail filter daemon. Sieve
might be used by the toaster some time after/when dovecot is implemented.
