Hi Prasad,

Although I have been running Linux/Unix systems for a long time, this is my first experience with Qmail and Qmail Toaster. Unfortunately I cannot find a way to add an e-mail account via command line.

To be clear: I am not creating accounts on the server for the e-mail end users. My understanding (hopefully correct) is that everything is stored under /home/vpopmail, so there is no need to create system accounts (adduser) for these people.

If there is a way to create a Qmail Toaster e-mail account via command line, I would appreciate a pointer to it. Please note that these need to be IMAP accounts, not just POP, if that makes any difference.

Prasad explains how to do this in the next email.
You can also download my QControl utility. It does not contain the bugs that vqadmin does and will allow you to create 2 letter addresses while still using a web interface for those that are not familiar with the command line.
