Any alternative? How do I get the server back to normal?

You shouldn't need to recompile any more. Simply add 
,CHKUSER_ALLOW_SENDER_CHAR_3="/"
to the appropriate line(s) in /etc/tcprules.d/tcp.smtp, then
# qmailctl cdb
I guess it's a little late for that now. :(
