When I say "locate lib.so.6" on my linux box and below are the results.

[r...@mail ~]# locate libc.so.6
/lib/libc.so.6
/lib/i686/nosegneg/libc.so.6
/lib64/libc.so.6

Is there anything missing.....

I have increased the softlimt from 2000000 to 200000000. Below is the
softlimit from :

[r...@mail ~]# cat /var/qmail/supervise/smtp/run
#!/bin/sh
QMAILDUID=`id -u vpopmail`
NOFILESGID=`id -g vpopmail`
MAXSMTPD=`cat /var/qmail/control/concurrencyincoming`
BLACKLIST=`cat /var/qmail/control/blacklists`
SMTPD="/var/qmail/bin/qmail-smtpd"
TCP_CDB="/etc/tcprules.d/tcp.smtp.cdb"
RBLSMTPD="/usr/bin/rblsmtpd"
HOSTNAME=`hostname`
VCHKPW="/home/vpopmail/bin/vchkpw"
REQUIRE_AUTH=0

exec /usr/bin/softlimit -m 200000000 \
     /usr/bin/tcpserver -v -R -H -l $HOSTNAME -x $TCP_CDB -c "$MAXSMTPD" \
     -u "$QMAILDUID" -g "$NOFILESGID" 0 smtp \
     $RBLSMTPD $BLACKLIST $SMTPD $VCHKPW /bin/true 2>&1

Sorry, here was Jake's suggestion:
You are either missing the libc libraries or do not have the softlimit
set high enough for the smtp process.
