I concur. Presuming you have 127.0.0.1 as the first line in your /etc/resolv.conf, what does
# dig @127.0.0.1 -x 207.115.36.143
give you?
You should use whatever nameserver address is listed first in your toaster's /etc/resolv.conf file.

I have on one of my servers in resolv.conf only one line:
search domain_name

and all works fine, on the second one two lines:
search domain_name
nameserver 127.0.0.1

what is the same meaning as in the thirst example. All works fast and proper. The problem is not in QT, the problem is in proper network and name server configuration.

Alexsander,

Max is trying to configure bind to be both authoritative secondary and caching nameserver on his toaster host. Can you help him with that? It's trivial when you know it, but prone to error when you don't. ;) As for myself, I'm don't have a need to do this, so I haven't learned how.
