Maybe he will see this and either clarify or fix it. Seems like
unnecessary clutter in log files if you are not using eMPF.

The eMPF patch was created by Matt at Inter7.
A.M. created the patch to add Matt's patch to the spec file, which is no
longer needed since it's included by default now.
So you would need to contact Matt at Inter7 for fixes to the patch. You
could always modify the spec file to remove the patch, which would not
only remove the functionality but also remove the log messages as well.
