Since courier is being replaced by dovecot in the (near?) future, I
think you'd be better off installing dovecot to handle your imap rather
than tracking down your courier problem. Many of us on the list have
already implemented dovecot, with good results. Search the list archive
for related posts if you're interested.

What is weird about them is that they actually show up in my Inbox (both
on MacOS X mail and using horde) as totally empty mail entries (no date,
no subject, no from, no to, etc.) and they get recreated after a while
when I delete them.
Any idea what these are for and how to get rid of this? As far as I can
recall imapacl should only be there for shared folders and that option
is not even enabled in /etc/courier/imapd??
