For some time I have not been running Clamd or Spamd as part of my
simscan. This was because of an unrelated issue, now resolved.
Recently I have returned these checking of messages using Clamd and Spamd,
see below.
/var/qmail/control/simcontrol
:clam=yes,spam=yes,spam_hits=12,attach=.mp3:.src:.bat:.pif
Since doing this our server is picking up more spam and virus related
messages, so everything is working.
My problem is, now the Sync of IMAP accounts fails quite regularly. We only
have about 20 IMAP accounts along with another 180 or POP accounts.
POP users are not seeing issues, just the Sync on IMAP.
Is there a way to see what is causing the issues? Or is there a way to
"tweak" IMAP to improve the service? The majority of my Toaster (CentOS 5)
install is as per Jake's Instructions.
