No, CHKUSER does some other things. QMT can check for valid addresses
though.
You really want to try spamdyke, with or w/out QMT. It stops 80+% of
spam at the smtp session, before the email is even received, so there's
less bandwidth used, and your server has a lot less to scan for spam.
