Might I which distro/version is your QMT host running? Virtual or bare iron?
CentOS5 is at php5.1, and mysql 5.0. CentOS has been quite stable, and
is the preferred platform for QMT (although others work just fine as well).
I realize I haven't answered your question, but I'd like to consider
your answers before offering an answer to your question.

Hi list,
Recently We successfully migrate, fusing and Upgrade our mail server,
ftp server, and web server with the php version 5.3. It didn't receive
any issue problem with the installation. However, our management decided
to downgrade the php version of our server from 5.3 to 5.2 it is because
some of our web project has been running with the php version of 5.2.
They want to standardize the php version to 5.2 of our server.
