I am getting qmail-smtpd: qq soft reject in my
/var/log/qmail/smtpd/current log file. I also noticed that when I run
qmailctl I get:

it looks like clamd is restarting.
during the same time as the qmail-smtpd: qq soft reject in the smtp
log I get the following in the /var/log/qmail/clamd/current:
