I think I may have answered my own stupid question as to where
/var/qmail/control

 

As to the what is the next question. concurrencyincoming or
concurrencyremote?

 

Or both? And what do you recommend they be as a general rule of thumb.

My incoming is 100 and remote is 60

That, and the chkuser settings in the /etc/tcprules.d/tcp.smtp file.
Remember to cdb after changing this file.
