I'm not sure how to do this off hand. Here's a snippet of code though
from the install script that expect will do the trick:
# remove files from previous version
rm -rf /etc/unofficial-clamav-sigs.conf \
/etc/cron.hourly/unofficial-clamav-sigs.sh \
/usr/unofficial-dbs
I would stop clamav before and start it after doing this rm command.
If this doesn't do the trick for you, I suggest asking on the
sanesecurity list (check the QTP page for links). I expect that Bill
Landry (author of the script we use) would be of assistance.
