is symlink advisable ?

or should i use mount bind in the rc.local file to have specific path ?
I have had no problems using symlinks in the past with qmailtoaster.

Performancewise it might be a better idea to use bind mounts though:

A (probably dumb) question. Isn't striping a logical volume across both disks a possible solution?
