Files are Identical, even down to the corredct byte size 8280.
So , how do i force a reinstall SM

So how does SM know (or think it knows) which file type is which?
How does the file
/usr/share/squirrelmail/functions/attachment_common.php
compare between the system that works and the one that doesn't?
