Hey Nicholas, Welcome to the QMT community. We have a certain respect for Bill Shupp for his contributions to the community, and still use some of his patches.
I believe your problem is more related to quotas than autoresponder. Quotas in QMT have not worked 100% for quite some time, but have been reportedly fixed with the release of vpopmail-5.4.33, which was made available for QMT a few months ago, and was just marked "stable" yesterday by Matt at inter7. If you're not up to this vpopmail release, I recommend doing so first, then we can troubleshoot quota problems from there.
