I haven't thought much about that yet. You'll still need to do a few things in those directions, like setting up mysql and services. You won't run the install script(s) though. You'll be able to use yum in a few days, but for now you can simply download the binary rpms manually and use "rpm -ivh *.i686.rpm" to install them.

I wouldn't run the dependencies scripts as they presently exist, as many of these things are no longer needed, like the compiler and such. You'll no longer need to build any rpms on your QMT host, so installation and updating will be much simpler (and quicker).

    While packages in /testing should be considered beta, when they end
    up being migrated to /current there will be no need to update them
    (so long as you've installed the final testing version).

    I'm presently getting the qmailtoaster-release package built, which
    will provide yum capability. I just thought that some of you might
    want to do some initial testing.
