I'm afraid that the implementation you've chosen will leave you with
very little support.
I would recommend converting your mail server to use QMT on COS6 (not
surprizingly). Your existing mail server would probably migrate easily
with the qtp-backup and qtp-restore scripts, depending on your vpopmail
configuration. Plus, you'd not need to compile a thing. You could have a
new server up and running with everything done in a day if you're lucky.
Of course, YMMV.

Distributions AltLinux no native package qmail, so I collect them himself.
Replaced with ALT distribution on Debian. Compilation is successful.
The problem is my AltLinux distribution.
I suggest you try obtaining help from the AltLinux community.
Unfortunately, ALT Linux community does not use Qmail. Postfix only.
There's useless to ask.
Earlier on previous versions AltLinux excellent compiled qmail for this
instruction.
