To forward system generated mail to a qmail account, is it a

Under /var/qmail/alias I created the following files:
.qmail-anonymous
.qmail-mailer-daemon
.qmail-postmaster
.qmail-root
which all has one entry pointing to a valid vpopmail account. i.e
&[email protected] <mailto:&[email protected]>
/var/qmail/control/me reads
ns.server.com
#hostname –fqdn
ns.server.com
However, it doesn’t seem to work correctly as per the following example:

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at ns.server.com.
I tried to deliver a bounce message to this address, but the bounce
bounced!

I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following
addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.
