COS 5 is all automated, but the most recent packages are not available
for install as I wouldn't know where (or if I have access) to put the
new packages for qtp-newmodel.

CentOS 6 is all automated, however, using the most recent updates is
prohibitive because of restricted mirror access--let me know if I'm in
error on this.

I have a working set of specs for CentOS 7 (with which I've installed
and done limited testing in a VM environment) and would like to put the
specs onto github and have them compiled into source and binary
packages, but I don't know where to put them on github. Also, I've tried
and failed to access QMT's qithub site on multiple occasions. After this
step the source and binaries can be put on the QMT testing mirrors for
communities' appraisal and scrutiny. The QMT communities input would be
good for these as my rpmbuild/spec knowledge is limited. Currently you
can install QMT for COS 7 testing with my scripts, qt_prep.sh and
qt_install.sh, modeled after EricS's QMT/COS 6 scripts, and test it,
from my ftp site at
'ftp://ftp.whitehorsetc.com/pub/qmail/CentOS7/qmt/scripts/'.

End of Life for COS 5 is 2017; for COS 6, 2020; and for COS 7, 2024. It
would be nice to be ahead of the curve which I think we are with CentOS
6, thanks to Eric Shubert, although we cannot update for the previously
specified reasons. Again, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You should be able to migrate easily from COS 5 to COS 6 and 7 using the
backup and restore scripts. The change from mysql to mariadb in COS7
should not affect these scripts. Be mindful that I haven't tested this.
