I belive an Internet Explorer-specific table selection issue was found. I
already navigated through the bug reporting tool (http://bugzilla.qooxdoo.org/)
and found nothing apropriate so here goes:

To reproduce it:
  1. Open example "Table 1" of (qooxdoo Application's) DemoBrowser.
If a large enough screen resolution isn't available, one may try setting
full-screen mode (F11) or open
"frontend/application/demobrowser/source/html/example/Table_1.html" directly.
  2. Adjust the visible window area in order to show 30 or less rows.
2.1. Try changing row(s) selected within the first rows.
          This should work OK.
  3. Adjust the window in order to show more than 30 (N) rows.
3.1. Try changing row(s) selected within the first rows.
Selection problems appear in first (N - 30) rows.
  4. Add "setMetaColumnCounts([1, -1]);" to the table configuration.
     4.1. Repeat 2 and 3.
Everything should now work well - it seems a work around until the
issue is fixed.

Few comments on the bug itself:
  - Setting table meta columns slows down rendering a lot! It should be
possible to avoid this feature.

Few comments on the test environment:
  - Seems a general qooxdoo issue (versions 0.6.6, 0.7, 0.7.1, 0.7.2,
0.7.3-pre and 0.8-pre5 were tested, all showing the same symptoms).
  - Seems a general Internet Explorer version issue (versions 6.0.29 and 7.0.57
were tested, both showing the symptoms).
  - Doesn't show up in other major browsers, all behaving as expected (Firefox
2.0.0.5, Opera 9.22, Safari - for Windows - 3.0.2).

This report is (somehow) delayed as I was erroneously diagnosing this as wrong
table configuration - qooxdoo samples were displaying OK. Recently I realized
this was simply due to qooxdoo sample tables (of Demo Browser) being wrapped
inside complex layouts, making the 30-row limit unreachable (at least, in my
display configuration)...

I can create a new issue in the bug reporting tool afterwards but would like to
receive some feedback/confirmation first.

Regards,

  Helder Magalhães
