I can't quite understand what problem you're seeing, and I followed your instructions to reproduce and can not see any problem. I'm trying this using the demobrowser online at qooxdoo.org (r10074, release_0_7_2) and IE 6.0.2800.1106IC. What specific bug are you encountering? What happens?
