Hi all, 1st of all: thanks for the discussion. But still I'm not able to understand what to do to connect a (qooxdoo) tooltip to the table or cell.
I have no problem in creating the content of the tooltip dynamically (like Jim suggested). My problem is the general understanding of the tables concept. I've looked into the tables source to search for something alike and found the "cellContextmenu" event. This seemed to be some kind of point where to look at, I thought. But to my shame I have no idea how to use it... An event-listener added to the table object does not get called here. But I will try it again on a very stripped-down table later. But that's another topic, I think ;) In general the most problematic thing about the table is to understand, _where_ to tweak _what_ (Table, TableModel, Pane, Scroller, etc. pp.). So I think I have to try the different involved classes one by one :-/ Nevertheless, thanks for the discussion and I'm still hoping someone can point me (and others) into the right direction. In the event that I found out myself how to use a "advanced tooltip" on tables I'll let you know. /Kuddel ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
