It appears that the Spinner widget has lost some of its useful capability in
0.8. If I'm reading this correctly, the values MUST now be integers. This
means, for example, that in my time select widget where hours, minutes, and
"am/pm" were all spinners, I'm no longer able to have an "am/pm" spinner.
Am I reading this correctly? Although the "range manager" concept of 0.7
was a bit complicated, it was also easily extensible.
I can, of course, create my own spinner class based on the existing one, but
this seems like functionality that would be generally useful, no?
