DWR uses JSON, not XML, so I guess we can call this AJAJ).

for use, DWR is neede because:
1) all the logic is already wired to DWR (configuration, extensions and
COMET).
2) using Spring framework: everything from Persistence API to web MVC.

so, changing that is not an options.
