It's probably worth your while, if you haven't already done so, to take a
look at the source for qx.ui.popup.Popup and its manager,
qx.ui.popup.Manager. You *may* be able to apply that manager to your table
widget to entirely solve you problem, but you are in somewhat uncharted
waters here so there may be sharks and water spouts that no one knows about.
I suspect, though, that if you can force the popup manager to manage your
table, you'll get the behavior you're looking for.
