Also, I wouldn't know how to position those lines atop my already customized and polished to the perfection (who am I kidding ;) qooxdoo widgets. I think I'll go with one of the previously proposed solutions - either PHP serverside generation (thanks Gene!) or SVG doing the work (thanks Derrell!).
