Regarding icons. It might be possible to have some kind of icon size
placeholder e.g.:
"icon/{size}/apps/feed-reader.png"
which is then replaced by the image class automatically depending on the
configured width/height. This definitely needs some conceptual work before
start implementing. There is no preferred icon size IMHO. This highly
depends on the requirements of the widgets which shows the icon. Maybe it
would be a good idea to derive the "Image" class into a new "Icon" class
which has some kind of magic regarding sizes.

They offer support for "visibility" - the most interesting thing I found.
