Hm... I am struggling a bit with the widget - model - controller - model
-marshal - store chain.
So, if you say that one can bind a controller with a store through
store.bind("model", controller, "model");
and both the store and the controller have a model that has properties, what
exactly does this mean?
Say I have a TreeVirtual with a modified SimpleTreeDataModel which exposes a
"data" property which holds the complete node array. Now I create a
TreeVirtual controller and JsonRpc datastore. The JsonRpc datastore loads
the whole tree from the JsonRpc backend into an array in memory. I save it
into a new model object with a single property "data" which fires a
"changeData" event - and then everything gets synchronized?
Is this how it works or did I misunderstand something?
Thanks,
Christian
