nice rule as long as the apps are not nroken ... seriously, some rules don't
work in all situations.

Perhaps, you could disable the Shorten-URL button as soon as there are too many
characters in the source window?

Or at least improve the error message (stating that this function only
works for short examples).

May be ... although it's just a lot simpler with (short) URLs.

BTW, the gist-menu has as "Acticate filter for [qx]" option. I couldn't
really figure out how to set "qx" on gist-hub ...
