I completely understand your reasoning. Nevertheless, I think it is bad to
have a broken feature in a usable application on the Qooxdoo website.

It is clear, that the API-viewer must show the api of the current release.

And the demobrowser should show the demos as they work with the current
release.

And the playground should execute the code based on the current release.

But, I think, all these applications should NOT have bugs in their
operation, I believe.

So, in my humble opinion, the bug should be fixed in the published
application.

I am aware that this might probably break your automated publishing process.

Or perhaps better, there should be a "maintenance release" fixing this?

Imagine you had a remotely exploitable security hole in any of your
applications. I guess you'd immediately replace the application no matter
what, wouldn't you?

Of course it's not up to me to decide. I just give you feedback from a user
perspective. And as I have a work around, I can live with whatever you
decide.
