Hello everybody, I am getting closer to a first public beta release of my qooxdoo-based application "Bibliograph". Bibliograph is a tool for the collaborative management of bibliographic data, mainly for use in universities. You can enter, edit, import and export bibliographic references, view them in different formats, and manage them by sorting them in thematic folders, etc. What sets it apart from desktop programs of the same sort is the collaborative, multi-user approach, and from other web-based applications, its truly "ajaxy" feel thanks to the qooxdoo framework. The backend is realized with RpcPhp and the qcl library.
Here's a demo installation just for you, guys, if you want to play around: http://quit.rewi.hu-berlin.de/bibliograph-dev/build/ You can log in by using the credentials "qooxdoo"/"qooxdoo" if you change from http to https. The server certificate is self-signed, so it doesn't work in Google Chrome, unfortunately. I am currently working on the documentation, which is, however, currently available only in German: http://sites.google.com/a/qxtransformer.org/bibliograph/ But since it is on google sites, each page can be easily translated. The docs are far from finished, however. I would like to move into the Beta-Phase soon, but zillions of bugs still need to get fixed and the app is still rough around the edges. My aim was to make it as intuitively as possible (that's why it looks a bit Apple-like). I would love to get feedback on the user experience (the server is decently fast) and how you like the UI or what you would change. Thanks for any comment you might have!
