Hi,

I think that custom build will not solve the situation, why not to
provide packages?

For example:
- Qooxdoo Core (core functionality, core widgets)
- Qooxdoo Devel (development classes, logging, unit tests, etc...)
- Qooxdoo Data (databinding classes and widgets)
- Qooxdoo Virtual (virtual components)
- Qooxdoo Html (html editor, toolbar, etc...)
- Qooxdoo Upload (upload functionality)

And contributions can be really simple, for example:
- Qooxdoo RPC test (depends to Qooxdoo Core and Qooxdoo Data),
etc...

Then user just include what he want and use it. This is really easy
solution for developers - just plug & play. All package can be cached
and reused for many web-pages/applications on the same server or
served through global web server.

Javascript is dynamic language and you should to accept it, not be against.

I think that qooxdoo build system and complexity to build an example
application is slowing down expanding the whole qooxdoo toolkit. As
Jean and many others here said - We want that qooxdoo will be used as
much as possible, because more developers means more bug reports, more
ideas and mainly more contributions (I'm repetiting here, but look at
jQuery, how badly designed library and be popular and how many
extensions you can find for it).

The main question for qooxdoo core developers is, how much important
are users (developers) for you?

BTW: Qooxdoo is great, but critique is good!
