Hi, Maybe would it be possible to create a mixin that overwrite the way widgets are created in the dom structure ?
I have to take a look at the code if it is possible but we could for instance have a "dummy" content qx.html.Element that points actually to the qx.html.Element container in order to reduce the number of created divs ?!? Don't know if it's really possible and/or integrable regarding how qooxdoo widgets function but if so, it might be useful in this case. Or indeed, you could also overwrite checkboxes and radiobuttons widgets...
