I'm sorry but there is only a bug that we should add a proper documentation for
this widget:

More specifically, is there a way to add a model (in the sense of
listitem.addModel) to a row of data in the table? I would like to be able to
attach an id to a data item in the table.
You can add it to your table model as meta information. The table does not need
to show all the data contained in the model.
