You need to create the project in the Project Explorer panel on the
left. Unfortunately though, I don't think it's going to allow you to
create a project inside the same folder as your workspace. I suggest
that you change your workspace to be a temp folder somewhere else on
your HD, you might have to exit the program and start it back up in
order to do this the easy way. To create the project, right click in
the project panel and select New Project. Click Next (don't enter
anything into the Wizard box shown. Then uncheck the "Use Default
Location" checkbox and navigate to your project folder and select it.
Give the project a name. Click Finish. At this point all your project
files should be under your newly created project in the Project
Explorer panel.
