Hello Carlos, I guess that has to do with the theming part of qooxdoo. You are using the slider as a child control, right? In that case, the slider gets another appearance key which is responsible for the theming. Thats not a problem as long as the widget you are using does not have child controls itself. Unfortunately, the slider does have child controls which means, you have to add a separate key to the appearance theme of you application. Lets asume your widget has the appearance "tweet-view" and you add your slider as a child control named "slider". Then you can add a simple mapping to your appearance theme:
"tweet-view/slider" : "slider" This redirects the look of your custom slider (including its child controls) to the general slider including its child controls.
