I cannot answer this post, and you might have to wait as long as it
takes until Andreas might find the time to answer it. But just a side note:
While the technical aspects of your post are interesting, it says
nothing about the features *you* would need, and why you might need
them. It's just a general complain about qooxdoo "looking bad" (in your
eyes) compared to others. This raises the question why you would be
concerned about that.

web host", long term goals? Is qooxdoo going to support the same as
mentioned above with Sencha? To support that, extensive change might
be necessary to the core of the framework. Do you intend to change the
model of development by increasing the core team, employ more
developers, hiring more people or invite long-time community member
contributing with core development to increase speed of development?
We feel that qooxdoo has been overrun by some of the competitors...and
we do not like it as we have invested a lot into the framework...
What are your opinions, intentions and goals, core team?
