Yes, we have. We know, but we prefer not to be dependent on two frameworks.
The reason is code sustainability and integrity.

Most are like that. Most are also no special projects. Qooxdoo is special and
therefore
it might be possible to activate the community even more if it is in benefit of
everyone. Every new head participating more is a success...
Web development is hot and people can make money on it if the tools are good
enough.
One good example of that was how MySQL previously was managed (before the
buyout).
