Hi, Congratulations on the move to a DVCS! Being a Mercurial fan myself I decided to try using the extension discussed above [1]. I used the "easy way" installation discussed in [1] (using easy_install) and then cloned the qooxdoo repository directly from github (using hg clone git://github.com/qooxdoo/qooxdoo.git). It took it about 1 day to convert the repository from git to mercurial, but now it seems to be working fine. Since I don't commit to qooxdoo I can't check all the features but pulling worked as well (though it asked me to use hg update --check because it thought it had to merge branches). Doing that it reported that 8080 files were updated and 7726 files were removed (no files merged and no conflicts).
Anyway, just thought I will share my experiences in case this interests anyone else. Cheers, Omri [1] http://hg-git.github.com/ -- View this message in context: http://qooxdoo.678.n2.nabble.com/qooxdoo-goes-Git-Github-tp6905496p6939125.html Sent from the qooxdoo mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The demand for IT networking professionals continues to grow, and the demand for specialized networking skills is growing even more rapidly.
