I realize now that "item" means "LayoutItem". I don't know if it's being too pedantic but perhaps using explicitly "the LayoutItems preferred width" will be a safer description?
I really don't think it is extremely important, but since it did confuse me for a while (especially since the VirtualSelectBox API has also an ItemHeight property) I think it could be beneficial to pay attention to these things.
