Hey Greg I am aware of, that evals are required in tests, demo browser .... My intent was to develop and test desktop apps in regular way (debugging source build in browser). After that I intend to port my apps to Google apps (or some other HTML5 desktop platform). I think ( but of course I'am not sure off) that it's possible to remove evals in framework/source part which is linked with "generate.py build". For me it makes sense to replace every eval wherever possible, because we gain in speed,safety and maintainability of code.
