I am thinking of purchasing the book to ease the learning curve. I
am almost totally new to programming and I prefer examples of code
as opposed to simply documentation. According to the main qooxdoo
faq: " Unfortunately it's (the book) now outdated because it was written towards qooxdoo v1.4, at a time when only (what we call now) qx.Desktop existed: qooxdoo - Develop Rich Internet Applications (RIA) with qooxdoo." Well, for now, the qx.Desktop is my primary concern and I would like to start from there and much later dwell in the other parts of the framework. So is the book still relevant for the qx.Desktop of 4.1? |
