first concerning translations in Qt dialogs. As Arnaud observed > 7/ most of the text in the print dialog box is not translated (i > tried french, spanish and german) and there is no option on > launchpad to add these translations where I replied that these strings are part of Qt and hence should be translated there. Well, they are translated there, but I forgot to load those translation into qpdfview! I am sorry for forgetting about this, but with trunk 1263, the Qt dialogs like the print dialog should be properly translation if the strings are available upstream. Again, sorry for not thinking this through. He also asked about translating the online help and Benjamin and I have found a solution that seems simple enough: The translation template does now contain the string "help.html" which should be replaced by the name of the localized online help if (and only if) that is available, e.g. by "help_fr.html" if we ship a "help_fr.html" containing a French version of the online help. It isn't as nice and collaborative as Launchpad's translation system as people will have to send me these translations by mail or as a merge request using Launchpad and as they have to translate the whole file instead of some small chunks, but it seems like a good compromise for not using Qt's help system which seems like a bit too much for qpdfview's needs. So if anyone is interested in writing a localized online help, please let me know. (I will also write a message to the "Launchpad translators" mailing list.)
